Noel was released this afternoon from the in-hospital rehabilitation unit. He is very excited to sleep in his own bed, see his dogs, and be back out in the woods just in time to see the big pay off on all the work they put into their landscaping in the Fall.
His days will continue to be filled with various therapy sessions,
including chemo and radiation that form part of the clinical trial
protocol. Rest continues to be critical to his recovery.
We will let people know through this blog when he's able to receive visitors.
Thank you again for your support - we know it has bolstered his recovery and will continue to serve him (and his family) well.
Noel,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you're out of the hospital, where rest is difficult to achieve. Hopefully, being in familiar surroundings will speed along the recovery process. You will continue to be in our thoughts and prayers as you continue on the path to full recovery - Stay strong Noel!

Lindy and I are happy to hear you are home, Noel. You just can't get any rest in a hospital with all the poking and prodding. Hope you feel up to watching the Predators and Red Wings game Saturday night. Not many folks around here own an actual Wing Nut hat. Stay strong Big Guy!
